Position: Exterior Maintenance Technician

Location: Brentwood

Contract: Full Time 40 hours per week, Permanent

Salary: Basic salary from £26,500 per annum

Reporting To: Team Leader

The Role

Working as a Exterior Maintenance Technician, you will work on site ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever-growing exterior customer base. This opportunity is for someone looking to join a busy, fast-paced business where you will be working with a friendly and welcoming team. Your main duties will include:

• Grass cutting and strimming
• Shrub pruning, plant care and hedge cutting
• Weed maintenance
• Using a range of powered and non-powered horticulture equipment
• Complete all digital records required through smart phone application
• Liaising with customers
• Autumn clearing
• Spring preparation
• Mowing
• Heavy lifting will be required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Full UK drivers licence
• Garden maintenance experience is essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work as part of a team
• Plant knowledge would be advantageous
• Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but is not essential

As part of your role, you will be required to:

• Always act in a professional manner as a representative of the organisation.
• Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements
• Ensure that the clients are always completely satisfied
• Initiate suggestions to improve the organisation's performance
• Complete timesheets and other paperwork and ensure all is handed in promptly
