The New! Tiller House, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel is currently seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to open the hotel and lead the Housekeeping Department to surpass brand standards and Owner expectations. As part of the opening team you will help us “craft inspired workplaces that enable all Associates to deliver kick-ass guest experiences and maximize investor returns”! In the hills of Laguna, CA the property will be well-suited for the road warrior and leisure seeker - fueled by community, entirely flexible and naturally comfortable. The 76-room property is expected to open late Summer, 2024 with an elevated service level.

Position Responsibilities :

• Manage the Department Associates and P&L
• Interview, hire, discipline and motivate the Housekeeping staff
• Implement 247Hotels and Brand operational procedures for the housekeeping department
• Train staff on the Brand's standard in the Quality of Service
• Assign and inspect rooms daily
• Control ordering, managing and inventory of supplies throughout the month.
• Review all costs associated with the Department and approve budgeted expenses using checkbook accounting methods
• Coordinate the inspection of assigned areas to ensure that health regulations, safety standards and departmental policies are being met.

Education and Experience :

• Skilled in hotel systems and technologies
• Experience working with the Marriott Family of brands a plus
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Individual must have a great deal of flexibility in schedule due to business needs
