The GDC is the UK regulator of over 120,000 members of the dental team and our primary purpose is to protect patient safety and maintain public confidence in the dental professions.

Job Description:

You'll have excellent experience in organising the diaries, logistics and travel for senior executives as well as establishing strong working relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external. You will have a good understanding of governance and experience of working with boards, committees or councils.

What's key is your approach to representing the CEO office, projecting a friendly, inclusive and collegiate attitude whilst always maintaining your professionalism and integrity.

You'll be a questioning individual who is interested in the why just as much as the what, ensuring that the CEO is appropriately briefed and always appraised.

If this sounds like your next career challenge, then we'd love to hear from you.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Relevant experience of working in a similar capacity with senior executives.
  2. Experience of working within an organisation that is going through a period of change.
  3. Background in working as part of a team to provide governance and administrative support to senior executives.

About Us:

Our primary purpose is to protect patient safety and maintain public confidence in dental services. To achieve this, we register qualified dental professionals, set standards for the dental team, investigate complaints about dental professionals' fitness to practise, and work to ensure the quality of dental education.

Our work matters and so do our people. We are committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion by recruiting and strengthening our teams with team members from different backgrounds, life experiences and viewpoints. Equality and diversity are not just words, they are what makes our teams strong and able to deliver. We want to be champions of diversity and to have a sense of belonging in the workplace, where everybody has the chance to contribute and to share what is important to them.

Benefits:

  • Pension contributions up to 10%
  • 27 days' annual leave (plus bank holidays)
  • 30 days holiday after 2 years of service
  • Holiday purchase scheme
  • Life assurance and income protection
  • Staff discounts including discounted gym membership
  • Eye test contributions
