Environmental Compliance Manager

Kent

£55,000 + car allowance + benefits

Alecto Recruitment are looking to hear from experienced Environmental Compliance Managers based in the Kent region interested in a full-time permanent opportunity.

Role Profile

1. Managing compliance of the Environmental Management system including conducting internal audits, external site audits, developing & reviewing policies, procedures and supporting documentation.
2. Ensuring ISO accreditation is achieved and maintained.
3. Monitoring the organisation's environmental performance against permit requirements and internal compliance targets.
4. Auditing and updating the organisations Fire Prevention Plans, Odour Management Plans and Dust Management Plans.
5. Developing, implementing and driving environmental strategies and policies.
6. Reviewing the suitability of all regulatory compliance documentation and updating or rewriting where required.
7. Report on environmental audits and make recommendations for future policies and strategy.
8. Report the organisation's environmental performance to key stakeholders within the organisation.
9. Drive the Environmental and Carbon strategy forward to ensure corporate sustainable development and Route to Net Zero.
10. Develop and deliver environmental training for staff at all levels within the organisation.
