We have a great opportunity that has become available for an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join the team based at our Campus at Milton Park, Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

The successful candidate will undertake small to medium sized Capital Projects, ensuring the safe execution of all work to the agreed scope. This will encompass asset replacement, system modifications and expansion projects across GxP and non GxP buildings, laboratories, offices, stores and utilities areas.

Role: Engineering Project Manager

Role Type: Permanent

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, typically 0745 - 1645

Salary: £50,000, plus excellent company benefits

Location: Milton Park, Abingdon (onsite role)

Main Responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of projects within the engineering/facilities team and have end-to-end accountability for their delivery.
• Deliver Projects on time and budget and ensure compliance with Statutory, Regulatory, GxP, Corporate and local requirements.
• Co-ordinate all activities from initial Project scope to implementation and report on key deliverables (time, cost, quality, safety).
• Improve site efficiency through design and implementation of new equipment/processes.
• Manage technical queries and requests for information from Contractors and OEMs, and facilitate procurement activities for equipment to facilitate installation of contractor activities.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Understand Engineering/Process plant equipment and associated requirements to comply with legislation (e.g. ATEX/DSEAR, CDM, PED, LOLER, PUWER, L8).
• Possess multi-discipline experience, ideally gained in a GMP environment.
• Adept at managing concurrent Projects with multiple external service providers and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrate and promote a professional attitude at all times, with the ability to work as part of a team and individually.
• Computer literate with ability to write and present concise technical reports.

Education & Experience:

• Degree qualified in an Engineering Discipline or equivalent experience gained in an engineering environment.
• Recognised Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2) desirable.
• Project Management experience gained in a similar industry; Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing or Utilities.
