5+ years experience in low-level firmware and real-time systems.
Strong project management and problem-solving skills required.

Embedded Firmware Engineer now needed in Cheltenham to join a small company developing new and maintaining existing products. Suitable applicants will have a relevant degree and at least 5 yrs experience of low-level firmware and real time systems.

Skill sets should include strong C programming, familiarity with the IAR tool chain compiler and ADC and sensor acquisition. Strong hardware appreciation is also required and you should be able to recognise electronic components and understand electrical wiring and mechanical drawings and their impact on firmware design.

Applicants should have in depth experience of software and firmware development methodologies combined with the ability to work well under pressure and take on new challenges, strong project management skills and strong problem-solving skills.
