Job Title: Electronics Production Assembler

My client is a very well-established Entertainment Lighting provider, who specializes in providing specialist lighting equipment to a range of well-known companies within the music, sporting, television, and movie sectors and has worked on large-scale projects such as The London Olympics, as well as some iconic blockbuster movies.

Due to business growth and increased demand for their products, they are looking to add a new member of staff to their Production/Assembly team in order to support the production demand for their products and fulfill customer needs.

The role will require someone who has good soldering skills and is able to solder at component level onto PCB boards, with efficiency. Maybe you have formerly worked in an Electronics Production environment, or are a Graduate with a strong passion for Electronics, or even a talented electronic hobbyist? The role:

• To solder electronic components onto printed circuit boards
• Run products through set software testing cycles using PC-based software
• Read schematic diagrams
• Support colleagues with the production of electronic items to meet production demand

The person:

• Experience with PCB assembly
• Strong technical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• The ability to solder at component level
• Educated to degree level, being a Graduate with an Electronics Engineering Degree background (Desirable)
• Strong passion for Electronics/Electrical
• Ideally experienced within an electronics production/PCB Assembler role
