Electrical Design Team Manager
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £60,000 to £65,000 + Pension + Healthcare + Bonus
Days Based - Monday to Friday - 1 Day working from home

The Company
My client is a global leading manufacturer of turnkey machinery solutions to a wide variety of fast-moving FMCG manufacturing industries. They have sites worldwide with over 35 years of market experience. With a growing presence globally, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become a center of excellence within a variety of food and packaging machinery solutions to the manufacturing industry. Due to further expansion within the British market, they have the need to recruit an experienced purchasing professional to complement their existing team.

The Role
To provide leadership and management to the electrical engineering team whilst developing innovative process and packaging equipment to meet customer requirements. You will therefore provide the following:

1. Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the electrical engineering team.
2. Manage design projects ensuring all schedules are met.
3. Work with all project stakeholders.
4. Develop electrical designs for company products.
5. Safety circuit and control panel design.
6. Provide support in the absence of the R&D Manager.
7. Ideally degree qualified, minimum of HND in electrical engineering.
8. Staff management.
9. Knowledge of PLCs.
