Your Role:

You’ll begin by immersing yourself in our financial operations, gaining a comprehensive understanding of our transactional processes. From there, you’ll build and lead a high-performing finance team, starting with the recruitment and mentorship of a Financial Accountant. As you demonstrate your impact, there’s a clear path to advance into a Head of Finance role, particularly as our CFO transitions to broader operational responsibilities.

Remote UK (wfh)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial management, including accurate reporting, forecasting, and scenario planning to support their growth.
• Provide strategic counsel to the Senior Management Team, translating data into actionable recommendations.
• Design and implement robust financial processes and internal controls that ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Drive operational excellence through automation and continuous process enhancements.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
• Manage statutory account submissions with precision and professionalism.

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience influencing senior leadership.
• A proactive, results-oriented professional with a passion for driving improvement.
• A data-driven thinker with strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset.
• An exceptional communicator, adept at distilling complex financial concepts for diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Ideally, familiarity with the technology sector, though not essential.
• Comfort with managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
