We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with expertise in CAD design and structural analysis to join our team. This senior role involves leading the development of innovative, climate-resilient buildings and mentoring a Junior Structural Engineer. The selected candidate will also manage premises and take on additional leadership responsibilities. Candidates should be passionate about climate adaptation and experienced in working with sustainable materials like bamboo and PET plastic to create cost-effective, high-efficiency structures.
Our work is already underway in Freetown, Sierra Leone, where we have an established office and a team of engineers. To date, we’ve piloted sustainable building designs, including homes and cool shading structures, using bamboo and recycled materials, improving thermal comfort for hundreds of residents. This role builds on that foundation, offering the chance to expand a proven initiative with a skilled local and international team.
