The Role & Key Responsibilities

Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Home Based (Central / East Anglia Region)

Contract: Permanent 37.5 hours per week - If flexibility is important to you, please discuss potential opportunities with our hiring team.

As part of a QA team covering the UK sites, you will focus on and have responsibility for Quality Assurance across the Central / East Anglia Region.

Some key responsibilities will include:

  • Working Collaboratively: Work as a key part of our quality team to ensure Feed Safety and Quality is consistently delivered across our sites and central teams.
  • Process Verification and Data Review: Continuous review of data and completion of process verifications to ensure FSQ standards are maintained.
  • Managing Investigations: Have a meticulous attention to detail, determining root cause and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Issue Management: Efficiently managing and resolving complaints, turning each into an opportunity for improvement.
  • Conducting Audits: Facilitate audits, ensuring compliance with industry regulations such as UFAS and VMD and our own high internal standards.
  • Training: Deliver FSQ training and standards development.

  • Previous experience in a Quality role gained in manufacturing, food or animal feed/nutrition environment.
  • Professional in approach with effective problem-solving skills both through investigation and data interpretation.
  • The ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
  • Qualified to HACCP Level 3.
