Join Esco as a Service Engineer to contribute to the success of the company through effective site service support for equipment installation, service, commissioning, breakdowns, IOQ testing, and spare replacements. This is a key customer-facing role and requires professionalism and demeanor on-site to meet and exceed expectations for repeat business and validation of equipment across the UK and Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out installation, commissioning, validation, IOQ testing, troubleshooting or replacement of parts on client sites, but support if needed anywhere in the UK / Ireland.
- Work with remote support as required to troubleshoot equipment failures to enable completion of work during the visit, this may require occasional working away from home.
- Work with the site work coordinator on scheduling for work.
- Ensure test equipment is kept in good working order and highlighted to the service coordinator when calibration is due.
- Ensure any tools and parts required to perform the site work are taken to site for use and are maintained appropriately for use.
- Carry out work effectively and efficiently to meet Esco and client requirements.
- Ensure site work reports are generated for each site visit, contain all the correct and pertinent information and are submitted immediately after completing the site work.
- Give clear communications and understanding to clients and other Esco staff.
- Work with, support and receive support as required from other Esco colleagues, working as a team to complete larger site work activities, and working alone to complete smaller site activities.
- Support activities as required within Esco for the common success and goal of the company.
- Provide regular updates and communication via the Viber communication tool Esco utilizes for global communications.
- Submit expense claims, receipts and reports in a timely manner.
- Maintain a professional approach at all times within Esco and on site.
- Provide feedback and reports on equipment and process issues in order to have continual improvement of products via feedback loop.
- Honest and open approach on when issues, mistakes or errors occur, and maintain open 2 way dialogue with managers and vice versa.
- Study Esco documentation in addition to the training to ensure knowledge of the products is increased and maintained.

Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering
- Ideally 3 year+ working experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willing to travel locally and abroad
