Job Description

As a Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Analysing financial data and creating financial models for decision support.
• Improving financial status by analysing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions.
• Coordinating with the Accounting & Finance department on financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation.
• Guiding cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Increasing productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
• Performing market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps.
• Maintaining a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.
• Advising on investment activities and providing strategies that the company should take.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Financial Analyst, Finance Officer, or similar role.
• Solid understanding of financial set-up, procedures, statistics, and economics.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial operations and recommend best practices.
• Excellent strategic planning skills in relation to finance.
