An established industry player is seeking a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join their dynamic kitchen team in a stunning luxury hotel. This exciting role involves supporting and training a brigade of chefs while ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. A junior Sous Chef is required at a stunning luxury 4* country house hotel which operates a fine dining restaurant, a separate restaurant for lunches and afternoon teas, a bar for light meals as well as being a popular venue for afternoon teas, weddings and functions. In this role of Junior Sous Chef you will be expected to support, develop and train a brigade of 15 chefs across the kitchen preparing seasonal, Modern British dishes to the high standards that the customers of the venue expect. As a result this Junior Sous Chef role will require you to adapt to a number of different cooking styles whilst assisting in the day to day management of the kitchen. You will be responsible for menu development, costing, and tasked with providing an appetising modern flavour.
Requirements:
CVs will be considered from Junior Sous Chefs, it is important that they highlight experience working in busy award winning 4* Hotels serving different dining operations and busy banqueting operations for at least 2 years. A Junior Sous chef with a strong character who has the drive and ability to push forward standards ensuring high levels of food standards are achieved.
