Job Overview

We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our excellent Kitchen team. Working in all areas of the Kitchen you will produce food to the highest standards for guests. Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for dining and events with excellent presentation ensuring compliance with health, safety and food hygiene.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

1. A passion for creating excellent food with a desire to delight our guests.
2. 2 years experience in a variety of Kitchen roles.
3. Strong culinary skills and techniques.
4. Excellent health, safety and food hygiene knowledge.
5. Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities

1. Preparing and cooking dishes ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate.
2. Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
3. Assist in managing inventory, stock rotation, and minimising waste.
4. Supervise and train colleagues, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
5. Ensure compliance with all health and safety and food hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
6. Assist with addressing and resolving customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.

Contract & Hours

Permanent Contract, 40 hours per week.
