Job Overview
We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our excellent Kitchen team. Working in all areas of the Kitchen you will produce food to the highest standards for guests. Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for dining and events with excellent presentation ensuring compliance with health, safety and food hygiene.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- A passion for creating excellent food with a desire to delight our guests.
- 2 years experience in a variety of Kitchen roles.
- Strong culinary skills and techniques.
- Excellent health, safety and food hygiene knowledge.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking dishes ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Assist in managing inventory, stock rotation, and minimising waste.
- Supervise and train colleagues, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety and food hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
- Assist with addressing and resolving customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
Contract & Hours
Permanent Contract, 40 hours per week.
