Job description
North West England, Lancashire, Leyland
- Supporting classroom activities under the guidance of the lead teacher
- Assisting with lesson preparation and planning
- Working with individual students or small groups to provide additional support
- Helping to create a positive learning environment
- Assisting with administrative tasks related to teaching
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Demonstrated passion for education and working with students
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Previous experience in a teaching or educational support role is desirable
- Understanding of classroom dynamics and effective teaching methods
- Ability to support students with varying learning needs
- Organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Work primarily in a classroom setting
- Full-time hours with occasional weekend or evening work required
- Collaborative work environment with other teaching staff
