Are you looking to become an accountant within an Accountancy Practice? We have an exciting opportunity for you!

Currently seeking to appoint a Trainee Accountant in a practice with 24 employees and a family feel environment. The company is offering a great study package, including a full 8 weeks paid study leave a year to obtain the ACCA qualification.

Trainee Accountant Duties:

1. Corporate tax compliance work (including preparation of tax computations, tax returns, and computation of liabilities) and preparation of VAT returns.
2. Develop an understanding of the practical issues involved in delivering a high-quality service to clients.
3. Assignments will be undertaken both in the office and at client's premises, involving teamwork and individual projects.

The Successful Applicant:

1. Must have 2:1 or above in Maths, Business, Accountancy & Finance, or Economics.
2. Must have an analytical and methodical approach to work, applying both common sense and technical skills to different assignments.
3. Be a highly organised person who can prioritise work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
4. Possess good interpersonal skills.
5. Be self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to work unsupervised.
6. Be a good team player.
7. Have strong Microsoft skills with a very good understanding of Excel.

Salary: £18,000.00 with full ACCA study support, 10 weeks paid study leave, 28 days a year holiday including bank holidays, and free onsite parking.
