Production Operative

4on4off shift pattern covering day and night shifts between 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am

We are currently recruiting for Operatives to join our Minsterley site, to be a part of Muller's UK Manufacturing Operator team, producing a quality product and meeting specifications according to laid down procedures in the most efficient way.

Your Responsibilities as a Filling Production Operative:

• To operate and run designated lines to achieve daily targets
• Operating manufacturing machinery
• Carrying out basic routine maintenance of machinery (mechanical aptitude is essential)
• Prompt fault finding and timely corrective action or escalation to minimise machine/plant down time
• Maintaining the hygienic standards of the production environment and general housekeeping of the working area
• A proactive approach to all matters concerning Health & Safety
• Having a flexible approach to your work arrangements
• Previous machine experience from within a fast moving production environment
• Relevant food manufacturing qualification/experience would be advantageous
• Mechanical Handling Equipment experience and knowledge
• Ability to work well within a team
• Good communicator – verbally and written
