Job Title: Weekend Production Operative

Location: Fradley Park, Lichfield, Staffordshire, UK

Contract: Permanent

Shift Pattern: We are primarily recruiting for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts from 6am to 6pm, though other shift options are also available. Additional information will be requested as part of the application process.

Salary: £27,378 - £30,422
Annual Bonus: Up to 5%
Breaks: 30 minutes paid + 30 minutes unpaid

As a Weekend Production Operative, you’ll be responsible for ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. From weighing ingredients to packing products, your contributions will directly shape our success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Precisely measure and batch-track ingredients to maintain product integrity.
• Arrange and transport ingredients for processing.
• Discharge pre-weighed ingredients into mixers, including bulk additions via semi-automated systems.
• Weigh, seal, and stack finished products with attention to detail.
• Ensure cleanliness, follow SOPs, and perform quality checks.
• Handle machinery efficiently and report any faults.
• Use PPE, stay updated on guidelines, and participate in safety training.
• Understand how processes impact feed safety.
• Promote company feed safety and quality standards.

What You’ll Bring:

Essential:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with workplace safety regulations.
• Ability to use and wear PPE appropriately.

Valuable:

• Forklift license.
