Knight Frank Finance is an independent mortgage and protection insurance advisory service from Knight Frank, the world’s largest privately owned global real estate agency and consultancy.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Rural/Agricultural Finance Specialist to join our team, contributing to the growth of our Agri/Rural finance service offering. Our mission is to ensure the client remains at the heart of our success.

Role Overview:

As a Rural/Agri Finance Specialist, you will join our broker team to specialise in Rural/Agri Finance. You will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships within Knight Frank’s Rural Consultancy Teams and the wider Agri community. You will also contribute to business development and marketing strategies while ensuring the highest standards of compliance and client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Specialise in Rural/Agri Finance as part of the broker team.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Knight Frank’s Rural Consultancy Teams and the broader Agri community.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of a marketing plan.
  • Ensure a consistent flow of leads and actively manage pipelines with your Admin Manager.
  • Support colleagues with complex and challenging cases.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance Team to maintain high file standards, ensuring client outcomes are at the forefront of all recommendations.
  • Meet operational standards by ensuring new cases are submitted within the agreed service level agreements (3 days).
  • Participate in weekly team meetings.
  • Achieve annual personal billing targets in line with the business plan.
  • Accurately update the CRM system with potential client information.
  • Report any complaints or potential risks to line managers.
Accountability & Compliance:
  • Adhere to data protection policies and maintain a clear desk policy.
  • Identify and report any risks that may impact regulatory permissions or the company’s whole market status.
  • Ensure compliance with Knight Frank Finance’s policy and procedures, including Know Your Client (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements.
  • Record and maintain Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
Business Generation:
  • Drive business performance according to the strategic plan.
  • Ensure service agreements are met when managing new leads and opportunities.
  • Maintain detailed notes and supporting documents for all new leads within the CRM system.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the rural/agri sector, preferably with a solid understanding of the rural market and its nuances.
  • Background in Agri banking or similar financial advisory experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills within the rural/agri community.
  • Excellent communication, compliance, and organisational skills.
  • Must hold a full CeMAP Qualification or equivalent.
