Salary: circa £28,500
Location: Islington
Job Type: Fixed term for 12 months with possible extension. Currently hybrid, remote and office based, full time.

A busy, pro-active Professional Institute within the Built Environment seeks a Practice & Technical Officer to work in its Practice & Technical Department.
The successful candidate will have excellent administrative skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to take responsibility for their own work. The job role mainly focuses on administration for the Practice and Technical Department and liaising with members and professionals in industry. There will be a full induction. The Practice & Technical Officer is responsible to the Practice & Technical Executive and Head of Practice & Technical for the co-ordination and administration of the Practice Department.

Advanced IT skills with knowledge of MS Word, Excel and databases are essential.
The Practice & Technical Department has a manual which details its protocols. You would be required to ensure it is maintained as it applies to your role and responsibilities.

The Practice & Technical Officer may be required to travel to out-of-office meetings as directed which might involve overnight stays at the Institute’s expense. The Institute has a policy in place for time off in lieu of working “out of hours”.
