Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager specializing in Commercial Gas/Mechanical/Electrical/ Construction projects. This role involves managing a varied portfolio of suppliers covering domestic, commercial, and renewable sectors. You will oversee all procurement operations, ensuring projects meet required standards, timelines, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source best products and services in terms of price, delivery and quality
• Work within a team to ensure accurate material quotes.
• Ensure our best prices are available and used in tender build-up’s
• Forecasting levels of demand for services and products
• Tracking and recording of all orders, processing of supplier invoices
• Monitor and manage supplier relationships / database
• Source and interview vendors, negotiate contracts and costs
• Manage stock control in both the office and engineer’s vans
• Adopt and roll out supplier advancements in purchasing
• Manage and develop procurement/estimating staff

Skills/Abilities Required:

• Have experience in the procurement sector with at least 5 years’ experience working within the Construction Sector
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Confident and professional demeanour
• Proactive approach
• Good level of written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to meet deadlines

Remuneration / Package:

• 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
• Free onsite parking
