Dance & Musical Theatre Teacher - Independent School - Summer Term

The school is seeking a talented and reliable Dance Teacher with experience in Musical Theatre to join their team for the Summer Term, ensuring continuity and high-quality performing arts education for their students.

About the Role:

Position: Dance & Musical Theatre Teacher
Location: Independent Nursery & Prep School
Start Date: Tuesday, 22nd April 2025
End Date: July 2025 (end of the academic year)
Working Pattern: Tuesdays, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young performers across both the Nursery and Prep School, working with children aged 3 to 10 years old. The role requires a teacher who is confident in delivering engaging dance and musical theatre lessons, preparing students for assessments, performances, and creative development.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Dance & Musical Theatre Teacher who:

1. Has experience teaching dance and musical theatre across early years and primary age groups (ages 3-10)
2. Is confident in planning, assessing, and delivering structured performing arts lessons
3. Brings enthusiasm and creativity to inspire young children in movement, expression, and performance
4. Can manage a diverse range of abilities, ensuring all students are engaged and progressing
5. Is organised, reliable, and committed to providing consistency throughout the Summer Term
6. Has a strong understanding of child development in performing arts and can adapt teaching styles accordingly
7. Holds relevant teaching qualifications or extensive professional experience in dance and musical theatre
