Dance & Musical Theatre Teacher - Independent School - Summer Term

SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a warm and welcoming independent school that prides itself on its nurturing environment and commitment to the arts. The school is seeking a talented and reliable Dance Teacher with experience in Musical Theatre to join their team for the Summer Term, ensuring continuity and high-quality performing arts education for their students.

About the Role:

  • Position: Dance & Musical Theatre Teacher
  • Location: Independent Nursery & Prep School
  • Start Date: Tuesday, 22nd April 2025
  • End Date: July 2025 (end of the academic year)
  • Working Pattern: Tuesdays, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience

This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young performers across both the Nursery and Prep School, working with children aged 3 to 10 years old. The role requires a teacher who is confident in delivering engaging dance and musical theatre lessons, preparing students for assessments, performances, and creative development.

The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and structure to each session, ensuring a seamless learning experience throughout the term. The school is looking for someone experienced, organised, and dependable-someone who can take full ownership of planning and preparation to maintain continuity in learning.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Dance & Musical Theatre Teacher who:

  • Has experience teaching dance and musical theatre across early years and primary age groups (ages 3-10)
  • Is confident in planning, assessing, and delivering structured performing arts lessons
  • Brings enthusiasm and creativity to inspire young children in movement, expression, and performance
  • Can manage a diverse range of abilities, ensuring all students are engaged and progressing
  • Is organised, reliable, and committed to providing consistency throughout the Summer Term
  • Has a strong understanding of child development in performing arts and can adapt teaching styles accordingly
  • Holds relevant teaching qualifications or extensive professional experience in dance and musical theatre
