Experienced Sous Chef

Som Saa is a unique restaurant and bar near Spitalfields Market in East London. We cook regional Thai food, including many traditional recipes and old techniques. Som Saa has received great critical acclaim, including a 10/10 review by Marina O'Loughlin and 'brilliant' by Jay Rayner. We have previously won Best Restaurant at the London Restaurant Festival and 4th Best Restaurant in the National Restaurant Awards.

We are looking for an experienced junior or senior level sous chef to join our team.

The right candidate should have sous level experience, a love of cooking, and the drive to learn and progress. Knowledge of Thai cuisine is a plus, but more important are strong chef skills, an excitement for Thai food, and a hunger to learn.

We can offer a very competitive wage, a central London location, and one of the most unique kitchen jobs in London. We serve hard-to-find Thai produce, make our own fresh coconut milk daily, do butchery, live fire cooking, stone-grind all our curry pastes in-house, do lots of wok cookery, and use exceptional meat, fish, and organically grown seasonal UK fruit and veg.
