Job DescriptionGrade UE05: £29,179 - £33,482 per annumCollege of Arts Humanities and Social SciencesThe School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences - PsychologyFull time: 35 hours per week (1FTE)Fixed Term: for 12 monthsThe Alzheimer Scotland Dementia Research Centre within the Psychology Department, School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences is seeking a Project Administrator on a full time, fixed term contract for 12 months. This post is expected to commence in May 2025.
The OpportunityThe postholder will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Alzheimer Scotland Dementia Research Centre (the Centre), engaging with internal and external stakeholders and providing a high-quality service that enables the Centre staff to deliver across their objectives.
Your Skills And Attributes For Success- Educated to at least vocational qualifications (N/SVQ 3, ONC or equivalent), plus some work experience in a relevant role; or School education to standard grade or equivalent plus extensive relevant work experience.
- Demonstrable work experience of project coordination.
- Sensitive to the etiquette of communicating with senior staff, external stakeholders and members of the public.
- Good knowledge of financial accounting procedures and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work in a team.

Please note that due to external funding constraints salary offers shall be around initial spinal points of the noted University scale only. Annual increments through the scale will occur with each year’s continuous service.
