Mobile Paint and Wheel Technician (automotive)

With customers based far and wide across the UK, our ever-growing business needs dependable people to join our successful paint repair team.

The Job

1. Monday - Friday
2. 08:00 - 17:30
3. £40,000 basic + Commission OTE £55,000 +
4. Company van, company tablet, company phone provided
5. Start from home, travelling to: car dealerships and customer houses up to 1.5 hours from home

Duties

A successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out mobile smart repairs. Setting up and using a spray gun, mixing paint, matching colours, using filler on occasions, primer and lacquer. Additionally acknowledging safety regulations and assessing the job is able to be carried out. You will also be experiencing various weather conditions while completing your repairs. Equipment provided.

Repairs on vehicles will include:

1. Minor scuffs and scratches
2. Paint blemishes
3. Stone chips
4. Wings / doors sprayed
5. Small dents

Experience

1. Minimum of 3 years experience within a paint spraying environment
2. Preferably automotive / motor trade background but not essential
3. Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in paint repair

Requirements

1. Valid full UK driving licence
2. Knowledge of filler
3. Able to paint a minimum of 2 vertical panels and blend
4. Right to work in the UK
5. Strong customer service
6. Good timekeeper
7. Basic maths and English required
8. Been in previous customer facing roles
9. Great attention to detail
10. Assessment / Induction Day required
