GSL Education are delighted to offer roles for a qualified Full-time MFL Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Eastleigh, Hampshire, to join their team in September 2025. The role offers a competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This role is perfect for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) eager to make a meaningful impact.

About the Role:

As an MFL Teacher, you will take on full classroom responsibilities, including lesson planning, report writing, and attending parents’ evenings. You will inspire students to develop their language skills and cultural awareness, fostering a love for languages such as French, Spanish, or German.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive language lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Incorporate cultural elements to enhance students’ understanding of the language.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and school activities.
• Encourage spoken and written fluency, using innovative teaching methods and resources.
• Foster an inclusive and engaging classroom environment that supports all learners.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Proficiency in at least one modern foreign language (such as French, Spanish, or German).
• Proven experience teaching MFL at the secondary level, with a track record of excellent student outcomes.
• The ability to inspire and challenge students through a creative and forward-thinking approach.
• A strong passion for languages and a commitment to delivering engaging lessons.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
