Qualifications

  • Experience working with adults who have experienced homelessness is essential.
  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it is required.

£12.50 per hour

Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Bank Project Worker at Trafalgar House, Lowestoft.

The role of Bank Project Worker will include:

  1. Providing support to encourage our customers who have faced homelessness to maximise their own potential and independence
  2. Being a first point of call to receive and direct all customer queries
  3. Supporting progress towards independence in managing positive mental health
  4. Offering one-to-one support as required
  5. Promoting safety by undertaking risk assessments and reviewing customers’ needs
  6. Regularly assessing the needs of customers, writing, and updating support plans
  7. Developing professional relationships with customers, using appropriate and clear communication to ensure their personal choice, privacy and dignity is maintained
  8. Delivery of small group activities to promote recovery and well-being

Skills and experiences:

  1. Experience of working with adults who have experienced homelessness
  2. Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong “can-do” attitude
  3. Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  4. Strong organisational skills as well as functional literacy and numeracy
  5. Ability to react quickly to changing priorities whilst working to deadlines and targets
  6. NVQ3 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards is essential
