We are currently looking for Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team working on the new Dudley Interchange project, which is a key part of the regeneration of Dudley Town Centre.

Taylor Woodrow on behalf of Transport for West Midlands (TFWM), is the main contractor for the project which will see the construction of a new transport hub that will allow passengers to switch seamlessly between bus services and the Wednesbury to Brierley Hill Metro extension.

Duties

Oversee and manage the project, ensuring adherence to programme schedules and budgets.
Lead the commercial management of NEC 4 contracts, including forecasting, cost reporting, and contract administration.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and alignment with client expectations.
Drive cost efficiency through value engineering and effective procurement strategies.
Ensure robust risk management and contractual compliance across all projects.
Mentor and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Report on project performance and provide strategic commercial insights to senior leadership.

Person Specification

Proven track record as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally within civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
Experience working with NEC 4 contracts option C.
Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets particularly within sub-contractor delivery.
Strong knowledge of cost management, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field (RICS or CIOB accreditation is desirable).

Hours: Full Time - 40 hours - Monday to Friday
