Responsible For
Maintenance of physical & classified material security, supported by SSTL’s Security Manager; deputy in their absence
Reports To
Head of IT, Security & Facilities
Key Tasks
The key task is to work with SSTL’s Security Manager to maintain physical security of the company’s commercial and government assets and support the wider IT, Personnel and Project Security functions. Core activities include:
The role may require the applicant to be on-call and respond to security issues outside normal working hours. They may also be required to be first-aid & fire marshals.
Success Criteria
Physical security of SSTL & HMG assets and creation of documentation to demonstrate this is comprehensively addressed.

Experience
Ability to listen to others and work as part of a team.
Ability to maintain organisation in a dynamic environment and self-manage ambiguity.
The role requires working on site, however hours can be flexible to allow for childcare / caring responsibilities.
Limited UK & international travel and on-call support may be required.
