Hybrid HR Manager

Are you a driven, self-starting HR professional with a passion for building exceptional people and culture experiences?

We're searching for a dynamic Hybrid HR Manager to join my client's rapidly expanding team in Hatfield.

This role will be Hybrid with the opportunity to work from home 2/3 days a week. Occasional visits to other sites may be required but this will only be 1/2 visits a month so you must drive and own your own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
  2. Forecast future workforce needs and plan for talent acquisition, development, and succession.
  3. Promote employee wellbeing initiatives and programmes to support physical, mental, and emotional health.
  4. Design and implement effective onboarding processes to integrate new team members smoothly.
  5. Manage offboarding processes with dignity and ensure all necessary exit procedures are followed.
  6. Handle employee-related issues, conflicts, and grievances.
  7. Work with the business' existing performance management process, including setting goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews with department heads.
  8. Design and deliver training programmes to enhance team member skills and knowledge.
  9. Organise employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and feedback mechanisms to understand and address employee needs and concerns.
  10. Utilise data and analytics to track key HR metrics, analyse trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  11. Stay up to date on changes in employment laws and advise management on legal matters related to HR.

The successful candidate will have:

  1. Previous experience working within a Commercial Work Environment (not Public Sector).
  2. Minimum Level 3 CIPD Qualification.
  3. Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  4. Strong understanding of employee wellbeing and work-life balance initiatives.
  5. Excellent employee relations skills, with the ability to handle conflicts and grievances effectively.
  6. Proven track record of developing and implementing employee engagement and retention strategies.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a transparent and open communication culture.
  8. Proven ability to nurture organisational culture and values.
  9. Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  10. Must have a Full UK Driving licence as you may be required to visit other sites from time to time.
