This is a hybrid working role, with 2/3 days per week from home. Occasional visits to other sites may be required (around 1-2 visits per month) so you must drive and own your own vehicle.

Key responsibilities as HR Manager:
  1. Collaborating with senior management to develop strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
  2. Forecasting future workforce needs and plan for talent acquisition, development, and succession.
  3. Promoting employee wellbeing initiatives and programmes to support physical, mental, and emotional health.
  4. Designing and implementing effective onboarding processes to integrate new team members smoothly.
  5. Managing offboarding processes with dignity and ensuring all necessary exit procedures are followed.
  6. Handling employee-related issues, conflicts, and grievances.
  7. Working with the business' existing performance management process, including setting goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews with department heads.
  8. Designing and delivering training programmes to enhance team member skills and knowledge.
  9. Organising employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and feedback mechanisms to understand and address employee needs and concerns.
  10. Utilising data and analytics to track key HR metrics, analysing trends, and making data-driven decisions.
  11. Staying up to date on changes in employment laws and advise management on legal matters related to HR.

What we’re looking for in a HR Manager:

We're looking for someone who thrives on blending strategic vision with hands-on execution. This role isn't just about maintaining the status quo; it's about building a thriving, engaged workforce. If you're ready to lead, innovate, and grow your own team within a supportive and ambitious environment, this is your chance to make a significant impact and truly make this role your own!

Skills, experience & qualifications:
  1. A minimum of CIPD level 3.
  2. Previous experience working within a Commercial Work Environment (not Public Sector).
  3. Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  4. Strong understanding of employee wellbeing and work-life balance initiatives.
  5. Excellent employee relations skills, with the ability to handle conflicts and grievances effectively.
  6. Proven track record of developing and implementing employee engagement and retention strategies.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a transparent and open communication culture.
  8. Proven ability to nurture organisational culture and values.
  9. Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  10. Must have a Full UK Driving licence as you may be required to visit other sites from time to time.

This is a unique opportunity to truly own and shape a crucial role, leveraging your proven track record across all facets of people & culture.
