Your new company

I am working with a scale-up fintech business currently going through an exciting growth period, looking to hire a recently qualified accountant to join the business as a Finance Manager. This business is completing their third series of company fundraising, which will take them to profitability. The business has offices across EMEA and APAC as it is set to scale up its business and expand its customer portfolio across those regions.

Your new role

As a newly qualified Accountant, you will be responsible for:

1. Preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP
2. Group consolidation for circa seven entities
3. Foreign currencies (linked to location where the offices are based)
4. Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process, including variance analysis and liaising with the wider business
5. Day-to-day accounting including month-end reporting, managing the VAT returns, and getting hands-on with daily transactions
6. The business currently uses SAP Business 1 but is looking at new systems to transition into

What you'll need to succeed:

1. ACA / ACCA qualified
2. Interest in working for a scale-up business
3. Interest in Fin-tech / payments
4. Happy with remote working
