An established industry player is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join their rapidly growing team in central London. This role involves managing a small finance team and overseeing all reporting functions, including the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts. The ideal candidate will be a qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA accountant with strong experience in month-end accounting and excellent Excel skills. Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA accountant or finalist with strong month and year end accounting experience.
Good Excel skills and experience with finance systems are essential.

Report to Head of Finance and manage a small finance team.

Do you have experience of Month and Year end Accounting? Are you looking to join a rapidly growing business?

If so, we are seeking a Senior Management Accountant to report into the Head of Finance, manage a small team of finance staff, and run everything reporting related for the growing business.

The role will pay £55-65k + bonus and great benefits depending on experience, and candidates must be able to get to central London.

Key Responsibilities

Report into Head of Finance and work with senior management team
Manage a small transactional finance team
Own the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts
Ownership of the month-end process
Development of all finance systems and processes
Be a key point of contact in the external audit process
Manage VAT and all tax processes
Work closely on the cashflow forecasting process
Develop Budgets whilst working closely with the various project managers
Manage the CIS returns process

Key Characteristics

Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA accountant or finalist
Strong experience of month and year end accounting
Strong systems experience - good Excel skills are required and experience using Xero is beneficial
The ability to work within a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
