Halliday Marx have partnered with a media firm to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on a permanent basis.

Job Title: Senior Management Accountant

Location: Central London (Hybrid)

Start Date: April/May

Responsibilities:

• Producing a full set of divisional management accounts with detailed commentary on variances for a large entity
• Preparing month end journals, accruals and prepayments
• P&L/Balance sheet analysis
• Producing the Statutory Accounts
• Producing annual budgets and monthly reforecasts
• Liaising with the auditors
• Reconciliation of Payroll to the general ledger
• VAT Submissions to HMRC

Requirements:

• Part Qualified in either (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) - Not purely from exemptions
• Experience with FULL ownership of the P&L and Balance Sheet
• Strong Excel skills (Vlookups & Pivot Tables as an absolute minimum)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
