Meet the team:

Commercial Excellence and Analytics Business Partner (Sr. Manager) will drive the commercial excellence strategy and execution for UKI, reporting to the UKI Commercial Leader and the EMEA Commercial Excellence Leader. This role will enhance growth and profitability by implementing a coordinated commercial excellence strategy aligned with EMEA guidelines.

Your focus will be on collaborating cross functionally and establishing effective relationships to evolve organisational performance through strategy development aligned to effective performance tracking. With a view on continuously improving customer experience through excellence in commercial effectiveness and commercial excellence.

Achieve Organisational Performance by connecting central initiatives to key activities. Develop dashboards to inform collaborators about current status in sales, market access, inside sales, and marketing. Key commercial performance indicators should include measurement of both leading and lagging indicators of individual and team performance.

Support senior leaders with data analytics for sales and forecasting, requiring a fresh perspective. As the go-to UK lead for all things data you will be the key connection point to the supporting EMEA commercial excellence, forecasting and analytics teams, working closely to finance departments.

Where you come in:

  • Collaborate with UKI leadership to optimize the Go to Market (GTM) model and resources.
  • Implement segmentation and prioritization methodologies aligned with EMEA guidance.
  • Lead territory design using data-driven decisions (e.g., optimum balance of sales potential, market share, geographical area, and critical relationship factors).
  • Develop targeting and activity planning to improve returns, measure, and track all initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure full usage of existing sales tools and technologies, suggesting enhancements where appropriate. Drive the adoption and usage of CRM as an integral sales and organisational enablement tool.
  • Drive solid sales strategy execution and processes, promoting innovation to stay ahead of market changes and competition.
  • Monitor sales performance, define critical metrics, and implement governance to drive data-driven decision-making and sharing important metrics.
  • Monitor impact of all resources on target accounts.
  • Facilitate collaboration across sales, market access, and marketing roles through aligned strategy and performance metrics aligned to focus strategies.
  • Enable effective monitoring of sell-out/in and partner with distributors to enhance customer experiences and sales effectiveness in selected markets.
  • Develop Effective reporting tools for each area of the business.
  • Identify sales training needs and collaborate with the sales training team.
  • Take overall charge of incentives and contests for the country in collaboration with EMEA Sales Operations.
  • Act as a change agent to support continuous and consistent growth.
  • Support special projects to improve commercial performance and/or expand capabilities.
  • Other responsibilities include supporting initiatives that build and expand Dexcom’s Commercial Excellence capabilities.

What makes you successful:

  • Collaboration and omni-directional communication skills
  • Extensive experience in Commercial Excellence or Sales/Revenue Management in pharma, medical device, or healthcare.
  • Hands-on experience as a sales manager or/and senior experience in people management.
  • Experienced at encouraging cross-functional collaboration and making a positive impact as a standout colleague.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local languages.
  • Ability to manage, motivate, and lead through influence.
  • Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Proactive, engaging and persuasive personality to lead and energize commercial teams.
  • Advocate for major change initiatives.
  • Ability to educate and train sales teams for consistent success.
  • Continuous learner of local healthcare systems and technology
  • Experience with tools like Veeva, Salesforce, Tableau, Oracle Fusion BI.
