About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor (3+ years PQE) to join a leading UK and international law firm’s Employment team in their Bristol office. This position will allow you to work on a wide variety of high-quality employment matters across a broad range of sectors.

As an Employment Solicitor in this team, you will be involved in complex advisory, contentious, and non-contentious work, alongside an experienced team of solicitors and partners. The firm offers a collaborative and supportive environment, with ample opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Advise clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including discrimination, redundancy, TUPE, and restrictive covenants.
  2. Handle both contentious and non-contentious matters, including tribunal claims, internal investigations, and employment contracts.
  3. Manage a diverse and varied caseload, acting for both corporate and individual clients.
  4. Work closely with senior colleagues, contributing to business development and client relationship management.
  5. Support junior team members through mentoring and guidance as required.
  6. Work in a client-facing role, providing clear, practical, and commercial advice.

Experience & Skills:

  1. 3+ years PQE as an Employment Solicitor with experience in handling a varied caseload of employment law matters.
  2. A strong understanding of both contentious and non-contentious employment law.
  3. Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  4. Strong technical expertise in employment law and the ability to manage complex matters.
  5. Experience in business development and client relationship management would be beneficial.
  6. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
