Regional Technical Surveyor
Oxford (Remote working)
To £41,800 + car allowance £4,800

Job Overview:
Barker Munro Recruitment have a new opportunity for a Regional Surveyor to work for this innovative insurance organisation to assess damage for buildings insurance claims to determine whether claims should be accepted or declined, and to verify scope and quantum for accepted claims.

Key Responsibilities:
In addition, you will:

1. Provide technical support for building damage elements of claims.
2. Offer first stage support to the Customer Services Team for claims with FOS complaints.
3. Carry out audits for local contractors assisted by the Supply Chain Manager as required.

Qualifications:
We are seeking applicants with solid construction experience; a trade background is considered, but estimating/surveying experience within insurance is essential. Experience of using estimating software and a qualification in Surveying is desirable but not essential.

Additional Information:
This role comes with a car allowance of £4,800 per annum as you will need to visit risk addresses in the Oxford region. Candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, good organisational skills, and possess high attention to detail.
