Contract: Permanent, full time – 35 hours per week

Cambridge Online Education is seeking a commercially driven and strategically minded Product Marketing Manager to lead our growing Course Marketing team, where you will shape and deliver compelling go-to-market strategies for a diverse portfolio of online professional education courses across Business to Business and Business to Consumer markets.

We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.

About the role

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will focus on positioning, messaging, value proposition development, and go-to-market strategy.

You will work in close partnership with our Propositions (including Market Research) teams to leverage insight and research to shape course offerings that meet learner and market needs, and with our Commercial team to ensure alignment with sales goals and customer demand.

Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership & Strategy: Lead a team of course and sector marketers and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Propositions (including Market Research), and Digital Marketing to drive growth and learner impact. Foster strategic thinking to support professional development in go-to-market planning and value proposition design.
  2. Product Marketing & Positioning: Develop differentiated product positioning and messaging frameworks, collaborate with the Propositions team to ensure market-fit and commercially viable course offerings, and translate course content into compelling learner-facing messaging.
  3. Market Insight & Research Collaboration: Partner with the Market Research team to gather and apply market and customer insights, interpret data from research and competitor analysis, and maintain a strong pulse on market trends and emerging needs.
About you

You will have significant experience in product marketing, ideally within education, edtech, or digital learning environments, along with experience of working closely with propositions, commercial, and product teams to align on value messaging.

Your strong leadership and team management experience is key in this role, and you will have proven ability to craft and execute go-to-market strategies across diverse customer segments.

You will be data-literate and comfortable using insight to drive decisions, particularly in collaboration with a dedicated research function.
