Technical Manager

Salary: Up to £75,000 plus package

Location: Farnborough

Regions: Berkshire, Surrey

Solid Residential Developer building new homes for a number of years, delivering enviable quality homes throughout the South East and London. They work on a range of residential projects which include large-scale developments, incorporating residential and mixed-use projects and are financially strong with a good portfolio of work.

Due to their success, they are looking to expand the Technical Team based in Farnborough and are specifically seeking strong candidates to oversee projects from start to finish and able to drive a team to meet high standards.

They are seeking an individual who has good knowledge within the residential sector, able to get up to speed quickly, self-motivated, proactive, and able to demonstrate the ability to coordinate and lead the design process unaided.

Looking for someone who can demonstrate stability on their CV but is also ready to take on their next exciting challenge.

Looking for:

Seeking an experienced Technical professional who is able to lead a multi-phase regeneration scheme based in Farnborough. This would be a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Technical Manager looking to manage complex and interesting projects.

• Experience in reinforced concrete, high-rise residential projects.
• Dynamic team player who is able to drive a team and make decisions autonomously.
• Previous experience of leading your own team.
• Involvement in large residential schemes.
• Able to enhance a company’s reputation through driving projects to success.
• Enthusiastic and able to communicate well with others.
• Methodical, degree qualified in construction or equivalent.
• Good working knowledge of Building Regulations and NHBC Technical Standards.
• Good team player with the ability to liaise confidently and professionally with clients, consultants, and construction teams.
• Highly motivated with a strong desire to grow within the business.
• Established track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Achieving quality in design and maintaining the company’s innovative market.
• Enhancing the company’s reputation through driving cutting-edge solutions.
• Delivering the project by working through colleagues and partners.
• Managing information flow in a project.
• Problem-solving on a day-to-day basis.
• Driving innovation in supply chain management.
• Coordination of specialist sub-contractor design integration.
• Providing a practical and cost-effective design service to the company.
• Management of in-house and external designers to ensure that best practice is followed.
• Jointly responsible for producing technical design solutions within cost plan or approved appraisal budget.
