We have an exciting opportunity in the Superintendent Pharmacist's Office team for a Quality & Audit Specialist.

You will contribute quality expertise to a range of existing and innovative initiatives within the Company, working with external partners and Boots colleagues as you conduct audits and quality assurance visits in Boots stores.

This is a field-based role with a requirement for UK-wide travel.

About the role

  1. Support the Quality Manager in auditing Boots UK stores delivering clinical services, trials, studies, and improvement initiatives.
  2. Identify and address gaps in quality and compliance standards.
  3. Reassure internal stakeholders and external partners of Boots UK's capability in delivering future-facing and reputation-enhancing services.
  4. Ensure alignment with the Quality Management System for clinical services, testing, diagnostic services, and research studies.
  5. Expertise in Quality management and auditing within healthcare or clinical services.
  6. Passion and confidence to coach store teams on quality improvements and patient care.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively and drive continual improvement in a field-based environment.

What you'll need to have

  1. Experienced healthcare professional or quality professional with a robust understanding of good governance and audit.
  2. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
  3. Knowledge of risk assessment and risk management.
  4. Excellent coaching skills and passion for supporting and developing others.
  5. Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with meticulous attention to detail.
  7. Ability to adapt and to be flexible to meet the demands of the business with pace.
  8. Good organisational skills to be able to manage a varied and demanding workload.
  9. Self-motivated with experience of setting and delivering to deadlines.
  10. Intermediate computer skills and the ability to adopt or contribute to the digital transformation agenda.
  11. Demonstrable commitment to ongoing personal improvement and WBA/Boots UK core values.

It would be great if you also have
