Salary £42,828 per annum, permanent contract, full time (37.5 per week), based at home with GB-wide travel.

It’s about the bridges, not the bureaucracy. We are looking for a pragmatic engineer who likes working with Victorian transport structures as part of a friendly team.

You will have experience of planning an annual schedule of inspections, performing bridge inspections, and identifying maintenance requirements. You’ll need to have supervised contractors, know the CDM roles and responsibilities, and be able to work with asset management and mapping systems.

We will provide you with great IT kit, inspection equipment, workwear, and reasonable expenses. We’re a small team of ten people, so we don’t go in for lots of admin, and you’ll get to take most decisions for yourself.
