LPC Graduate – Criminal Law

Job description

Our client, a leading criminal law firm, is seeking an LPC graduate looking for a start in criminal law. Previous experience is not necessary but it is a requirement that you have either the LPC or BPC qualification.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting correspondence, documents, witness statements, etc.
• Liaising with clients.
• Attending court proceedings.
• Research projects and cases.
• Communicating with the legal aid agency.

Whilst no prior experience is required, you will need to demonstrate exceptional organisation skills; attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your workload are a must. Communication skills to deal with a client-facing role, a good telephone manner, and a positive and proactive attitude are imperative.
