Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire (with travel throughout the South of England)

The Company:

Our client is a leading provider of audio-visual solutions for schools, colleges, and universities across the South of England and beyond. They design, install, and maintain cutting-edge AV systems that enhance teaching and learning experiences.

About the Role:

As an AV Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation and configuration of various audio-visual equipment in educational settings. This includes:

Installing projectors, interactive whiteboards, sound systems, video conferencing equipment, and other AV technologies.
Configuring and testing systems to ensure optimal performance.
Providing basic training to teachers and staff on how to use the new equipment.
Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that may arise.
Working closely with the project managers and sales team to ensure successful project completion.

Requirements:

Proven experience in AV installation and configuration.
Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving license.
Willingness to travel throughout the South of England.

Additional Information:

Hours of work Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm
