Job description

Polis Analysis is a mission-driven organisation. Our six-point mission defines who we are, what we do, and what we stand for:

  • We are committed to helping individuals, not large corporations, navigate a volatile and unpredictable political world. We provide clear, direct analysis of global political developments, explaining how they impact you.
  • Our analysis is fact-based, aimed at countering the spread of misinformation.
  • We make politics accessible. Our work is free of jargon, free of ads, and free of charge.
  • Our stance is strictly impartial to combat the growing polarisation and partisanship found in mainstream media.
  • We are dedicated to empowering young people, the next generation of leaders, by helping them navigate the political landscape, especially as they are more exposed to fake news online, have fewer resources to stay informed, and are often less politically engaged.
  • Polis Analysis believes that informed citizens create healthier democracies. We stand by the right of individuals to be informed about the political decisions affecting their lives. At Polis Analysis, our goal is to empower citizens with the knowledge they need to navigate global politics. We are not here to influence; we are here to inform.

Role: Digital Editor (2-4 hours per week)

  • Help advocate for free speech solutions to combat threats to information integrity, contributing to Polis Analysis’s media literacy efforts and exploring how AI tools can help protect online spaces.
  • Gain practical experience in media analysis, research, and digital communication, working with a dedicated and mission-driven team.
  • Build a professional portfolio with your contributions to published content that addresses real-world challenges in the digital media landscape.
  • Be part of a supportive team culture, where internal growth and the implementation of new ideas are actively encouraged.
  • Learn from and engage with experienced professionals and members of our Advisory Board.
