LaFosse are partnering with a fast-growing wellness company to find a talented Data Engineer for a 6-month contract.

Role Overview:
As a Data Engineer, you'll focus on improving data quality and supporting analytics teams. You'll work closely with the Data Science & Analytics Director to build scalable data solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Aggregate and structure raw data from multiple sources (APIs, GraphQL, data scraping).

• Design, develop, and support ETL applications.

• Build and maintain data pipelines (robust, scalable, and future-proof).

• Ensure data quality and collaborate with IT for accuracy.

• Support software integration for seamless data flow.

• Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in Data Engineering (preferably retail/customer services).

• Advanced SQL and relational databases.

• Proficient in Python and bash.

• Familiar with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred).

• Strong Git and Gitflow knowledge.

• Data management and modeling expertise.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Shopify and shell scripting experience a plus.
