Job description

THE ROLE

(6 month Fixed-Term Contract)

As a Talent Acquisition Associate, you’ll be responsible for supporting the recruitment process by assisting with candidate sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews. You’ll collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and help attract the best candidates for our open positions. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain experience and grow within the talent acquisition space.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, and interview coordination.
  2. Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and ensure alignment with recruitment efforts.
  3. Review resumes and conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  4. Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, social media, and other recruitment platforms.
  5. Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth process for all involved.
  6. Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with candidate information, interview feedback, and hiring status.
  7. Assist with creating and posting job descriptions, ensuring they are clear, engaging, and aligned with company standards.
  8. Help manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.

  1. 1+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
  2. A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for people and helping others find the right opportunities.
  3. Articulate and engaging. You will be the first point of reference for candidates.
  4. Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  5. Ability to build strong business relationships with the Smart team and the candidates.
  6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
