Supply Teaching Assistant - Bath and North East Somerset

Salary: £83.33 - £96.15 per day, dependent on experience
Start: ASAP

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you'll work across primary, secondary, and SEN (Special Educational Needs) schools, supporting teachers and helping pupils achieve their potential. Whether you're assisting in a mainstream classroom, one-to-one sessions with a SEN student, or in small group settings, your role will be vital in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

About the role
  1. Provide classroom support to teachers across a range of age groups and abilities.
  2. Assist pupils with their learning, including those with additional needs.
  3. Create a nurturing and engaging environment to support academic and personal development.
  4. Adapt to various school environments and be proactive in meeting the needs of each setting.
  5. Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  6. A flexible, supply-based role perfect if you're seeking variety in your work or balancing other commitments.
What we're looking for from you
  1. Maths and English at GCSE - Minimum grade 4/C or equivalent.
  2. A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
  3. Experience working with children or young people (classroom experience is a bonus but not essential).
  4. Flexibility to work across primary, secondary, and SEN schools.
