As a Senior Audit Training Manager, your responsibilities will include among others:

  • Providing UK GAAP, IFRS, audit technical support, and training via our internal Mailbox, webinars, and face-to-face training to ABS and other departments across the Group as necessary.
  • Developing and implementing our bespoke audit methodology by working closely with ABS Partners and staff to ensure that it drives audit quality across all offices without unnecessary inefficiency.
  • Anticipating and researching emerging technical issues, producing practical written guidance, and evaluating current processes in light of new requirements.
  • Ensuring consistently high audit quality by performing both hot and cold file reviews.
  • Coaching more junior members of the team to help them achieve their full potential within the team and the firm.
  • Developing the firm's external technical profile by delivering external webinars and guidance.
Qualifications

Skills and experience:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA).
  • Good working knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards and their application with practical experience of either developing or introducing new procedures.
  • Very good presentation skills - ranging from small groups to larger audiences.
  • Project management experience and experience of getting things implemented in practice.
